Military Families
In 2007, JMF began partnering with the San Diego Scottish Rite Community
Foundation, the San Diego Al Bahr Shrine, and the Mary Fay Pendleton
Elementary School’s PTA to sponsor a unique BBQ-style dinner and
educational program benefiting the school children and families
on the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. The event features many
family-friendly activities, including dinner, clowns, and Tin Lizzy’s
(mini-cars pulling mini-wagons, driven by Shriners). To make the
event truly memorable, JMF arranges for an interactive animal education presentation.
